📐 How to Measure Your Curtains
Step 1: Determine the Height
First, confirm whether your track will be ceiling mounted or wall mounted.
Ceiling Mount: Measure from the ceiling down to your desired endpoint.
Wall Mount: We recommend installing the track 6-10 inches above the window frame for optimal light coverage.
Installation Space Required:

Curtain Bottom Styles
- Floating Look — Curtain ends 1/2 inch (13mm) above the floor. Clean, straight appearance.
- Just Touch Floor — Classic tailored look. Perfect for ripple fold curtains.

Step 2: Determine the Width
Consider how much of your window or wall you want to cover. Below are three common coverage options.
- Privacy + Light Balance — Measure window frame width (A). Add extra width (B) on each side (typically 6-15 inches) to allow curtains to stack neatly when open.
- Full Wall Coverage — Measure entire wall width left to right (excluding crown molding). Subtract ¾ inch (2 cm) from each side for a snug fit.
- Unobstructed View — Measure window frame width (A). Add ⅓ of combined side width (B+B) to maximize light and view when curtains are fully open.
